We stayed at the Adelphi Hotel in Melbourne last Thursday night and had a fantastic experience overall. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the city, close to everything we needed. The room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, with a great layout that made it easy to relax. The king bed was extremely comfortable, although we found the pillows a little too thick for our liking. It would be great if there were a mix of pillow options available (perhaps two thick and two thinner ones) to suit different sleeping preferences. Breakfast was included, which was a nice touch, though it was very basic and it would have been nice to have a bit more support or someone available to offer coffee or assistance. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the Adelphi Hotel for anyone looking for a beautiful, well-located spot in Melbourne!

As a Gen X, I remember the Adelphi Hotel, as one of the first boutique cool hotels- If these walls could talk!!! the stainless steel finishes of the bathroom would tell a 80's/90's story or two.... Now we're here for an art exhibition...times have changed. Great location, fab restuarants all around, galleries nearby and a famous sky high lap pool if you can be bothered. Convenient grab and go brekkie items and a freebie mini bar with all the things you would need like gummy lollies and chocolate. The place needs a refurb but not desperately... I like its slightly weathered, ex-party girl feel, good times were had here, though he in house restuarant is no longer - Nomad is downstairs, Supernormal across the road and Lune around the corner. Good value, nice rooms, a good bed, it's not opulent, it was juuuust right for this older Goldilocks.

Great location to explore anywhere in the CBD. So many great coffee shops, bars and restaurants within 3-4 minutes walk means they don’t need a restaurant in the hotel. The hotel staff do the little things well - offered us an umbrella as we were walking out and rain was expected, helped us take out a breakfast when we had an early flight to catch, free daily refills of the lollies and soft drinks in the room. Staff were just super friendly and helpful - but not in your face. Will definitely stay here again when we next have a weekend in Melbourne.

The customer service at reception was exceptional. I have stayed in many hotels and this one surprised me, with not only the greeting and ease at the desk but the consideration to allow me early check in instead of leaving my bag, as the room was ready, gave a great start to my day. The free mini snacks and bar, evening drink, and continental breakfast - these were a surprise and could be marketed stronger and listed as inclusions. The location. The room decor. The discounted parking next door, in an easy to navigate carpark.

The staff at the Adelphi were wonderful. They helped us with our luggage, serving us drinks and even got cutlery for us to eat out takeaway. My friend had a walker and they were quick to help her access the building via the service lift. The little lounge/ dining area in the ground floor was a great spot. We loved our big rooms and comfortable beds. Couldn't hear any noise from surrounding areas. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the Regent Theatre which was where we were going.
